Welcome to our churches

We hope that what you find here is both interesting and informative, giving you some insight into our parishes and the communities. We are privileged to have two lovely churches in which to worship. Kemsing and Woodlands are united to serve others at home and abroad in the name of Jesus. We have a broad range of worship styles and there is a remarkable coming together in practical action. Both Parishes contribute to the spiritual and social needs of the young, as well as the elderly, disadvantaged, sick and lonely in our local area.

Our congregations support, members of both churches who are serving or have served across the world in places like Brazil, Central America, Lesotho, and on the ‘DOULOS’, and locally with projects in London for AIDS victims, for drug abuse and in a women’s refuge.

Both churches work with and in their local communities to provide a wide range of activities for the old and young alike so why not click though and find out all about the parishes.

Early Sunday Morning Service
1^st, 2^nd & 4^th Sunday	8:00am	BCP Holy Communion A quiet celebration in traditional language
3^rd Sunday	8:00am	CW Holy Communion A quiet celebration using Common Worship
5^th Sunday	8:00am	BCP Matins A quiet non communion service in traditional language
Sunday Morning Worship
1^st - 4^th Sundays	9:15am	Sung Communion Service A traditional Communion service, using Common Worship, with parts of the liturgy sung.
1^st - 4^th Sundays	10:30am	Morning Service Family friendly service with an emphasis on everyday language, and contemporary music & teaching. All-age service 1^st Sunday each month; childrens groups other weeks.
5^th Sunday	10:00am	Combined Communion A special sung service bringing both parishes together in one church. Usually held at Kemsing. Breakfast served from 9am for those who want to join us.
Sunday Evening
1^st Sunday	6:30pm	Various We hold an informal service in the church hall; exactly what style of service varies from month to month.
2^nd, 3^rd & 5^th Sunday	6:30pm	Evensong Traditional BCP Evensong
4^th Sunday	6:30pm	Evening Praise A service of praise and prayer
Weekdays
Monday to Saturday	5:00pm	Evening Prayer The daily prayer and Bible reading of the Church
1^st - 5^th Wednesday	9:30am	Holy Communion A reflective celebration of Communion
