Welcome
St Mary’s Woodlands is a rural parish with a scattered community which crosses the civil parish boundaries of West Kingsdown, Kemsing, Otford, Shoreham and Eynsford.
Reputed to be the smallest Anglican Church in the Diocese of Rochester, it is set in the heart of the Kent countryside and is built from the local flint. It was completed in 1850 having been commissioned by John Painter Vincent, twice president of the Royal College of Surgeons, whose son became the first vicar.
The vision of our Church is to develop the life, worship and mission of Christ’s Church in Woodlands.
