Fire update: We had been considering having a year's break from our Holiday Club in the summer of 2014, then relaunching it the following year. The loss of our church hall has confirmed those plans; there will not be a Holiday Club during August 2014.

Each summer, we run a holiday club for primary-aged children.

This usually takes place over 4 mornings during the last full week of August, but the dates could vary. Please come back to this website nearer the time to find the actual dates, or alternatively please contact us.

Usually, we can take up to 50-60 children, and the club runs with the support of many volunteers. Each year's club follows a particular theme, and the children do all their activities in groups that are each of similar ages. In a typical morning, there will be:

  • Songs
  • Snacks
  • A Bible story retold, together with a clip from a DVD
  • Craft
  • Group games

The club concludes on the Sunday morning at the end of the club, when the all-age service in church features songs and activites from the club, as well as the final scores from the group competition and prize-giving.

Photos from 2013!

Our 2013 holiday club was called Junior Heroes. The photos on the right are from that club; if you click on one of them, you will begin a slideshow giving you the chance to see more photos.

Lots of Singing

One of the things we love to do is sing. Here's one of the songs we sang, called God's Word is the Bible.
