Sunday Special

Sunday Special's work
Lettering on our Sunday Special board
Fire update: Sunday Special has outgrown the two vestries we used after our hall fire, so we now meet in Kemsing Primary School. Everyone starts together in church for the start of the service at 10.30am, and children are taken over to the school after the first couple of songs; they are brought back to the church in time for the end of the service. We are very grateful for the school's hospitality, which enables us to continue to teach our children, and to put on a good range of activities.

Sunday Special is the church Sunday School for primary-aged children.

Sunday Special takes place every Sunday during the 10am or 10.30am service; the only exception is when we hold our monthly All-Age Service, as the children stay in church throughout.

Any children from aged 4-11 are welcome; if you are just visiting us, your children are most welcome to join in with our regular members. The parents of children who wish to join on a regular basis should complete the annual registration form, so that we have the necessary contact details.

We separate the children into two groups (4-7s, 7-11s) to allow them to be taught in age-appropriate ways.

Each week, we have a mixture of songs, craft, Bible stories and games, and the session usually lasts for approximately 45 minutes.

For younger children, we have a supervised creche.
